Learning Architectural Drawing 2012 Programme (LAD 2012) offers an exceptional opportunity for undergraduates
to experience EPS student life over two weeks (from June 25 to July 6, 2012) .
From June 25 to July 6, 2012 (10.00-14.30 pm). Cost: 275 Euros. Accommodation is not included but students can book a room in the University Hall of Residence. Registration is required at clorenzo@ceu.es. Applications are accepted in the order that they are received.
A Summer Program for High School Students
If you are finishing up the junior year of High School and are looking to the future, you may be interested in CEU San Pablo Summer University Course: Learning Architectural Drawing. This two-week program is designed to introduce high school students to the profession of Architecture. It will be offered from June 25 to July 6. The workshop will run from 10.00 to 14.30 pm.
Workshops and lectures
The course includes model-making, instruction in freehand sketching and introduction to digital representation (AutoCad, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and Photoshop) with group discussions, reviews and one-on-one guidance in tutorial time. Students may use the Computer Laboratory, the Drawing Room, the Digital Prototyping Lab and the Library). The workshop includes a field trip to a Madrid’s architectural landmark and concludes with an exhibition of student work and a reception for students and their families.
Tuition and Accommodation
Tuition is 275 Euros. Accommodation is not included but students can book a room in the University Hall of Residence Colegio Mayor San Pablo located in Moncloa.
Curso de Verano para alumnos preuniversitarios
Si eres un alumno de Bachillerato y estás interesado en los contenidos de la titulación de Arquitectura te puede interesar el Curso de Verano de la Universidad CEU San Pablo: Aprendiendo a Dibujar Arquitectura. Se trata de un taller intensivo de dos semanas de duración que se desarrollará de lunes a viernes del 25 de junio al 6 de julio de 2012, de 10.00 a 14.30h.
Talleres y clases
Durante el curso los alumnos desarrollarán maquetas, bocetos a mano alzada y dibujos empleando herramientas digitales (AutoCad, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper y Photoshop) y contarán con correcciones, revisiones grupales y tutorías individuales. Además tendrán acceso a las instalaciones de la EPS (aula informática, aula de dibujo, taller de maquetas y biblioteca). Las actividades incluyen una visita a un edificio representativo de Madrid y concluirán con una exposición de los trabajos de los alumnos y una recepción para sus familiares.
Coste y alojamiento
El precio del curso son 275 Euros. El alojamiento no está incluido, pero los alumnos que lo soliciten podrán alojarse en el Colegio Mayor San Pablo situado en Moncloa.
